Melissa specialises in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy following more than 20 years of practicing sports and remedial massages, with emphasis on injury management and rehabilitation. She has also been a personal trainer for over 18 years, working with people from all different backgrounds, including the elderly population to serious athletes. Most recently, she worked as physiotherapist to Michael McKinson, now UK no.1 Welterweight boxer from Portsmouth but also over see to his over all training, whether it is his boxing or strength & conditioning training technique. She is meticulous in her treatment and training processes - not only to meet short term or long term goals but with methodical emphasis on longterm wellbeing and injury prevention, ie…through providing tedious gait and posture corrections and improvements to sports specific technique, for the relevant activity.
Throughout the years working in the health and fitness industry, she has also acquired vast experience as a Health Consultant for public and corporate clients and has often been described as a magician when it comes to relieving musculoskeletal pain and fixing problems.
For over 15 years, Melissa worked at the Nuffield Health Club in Bloomsbury as a senior specialist trainer and a sports therapist. She currently provides physiotherapy, acupuncture and sports massage treatments at a clinic in the heart of London and soon to make her debut at a renown clinic in Harley Street. Alternatively, she also offers mobile service for physiotherapy, personal training and all other treatments in the comfort of your home or office.
